Uninstall Everyfile

1. Quit the app

Choose Quit Everyfile in the menu bar icon's menu, or run this in Terminal:

killall Everyfile

2. Remove the app

Drag Everyfile from the Applications folder to the Trash and empty it.

3. Delete its data

Everyfile keeps its index and settings in a few places. The index is only a cache of file names that is rebuilt on the next start, and nothing else is left behind: no files on your drives, no account, no background service. In Terminal:

rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/Everyfile
rm -rf ~/Library/Caches/app.everyfile.Everyfile
defaults delete app.everyfile.Everyfile
rm -f ~/Library/Preferences/app.everyfile.Everyfile.plist

Some of these may not exist; that is fine.

4. Remove the Full Disk Access entry

Open System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access, select Everyfile and click the minus button.

5. Login item (only if you added one)

Everyfile does not add itself to your login items. If you added it yourself, open System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions and remove it there.
